Walnut Oil


This delicate oil is slow-roasted and expeller pressed in small batches in the Perigord and Burgundy regions of France. The result is a rich, walnut taste that is terrific in cold dishes and salad dressings. It is wonderful drizzled over pasta or risotto and is a lovely oil for dipping. Try it with Egg and Semolina pasta with chicken for an easy weeknight meal. Use it in baking to add a light, nutty taste to sweet breads and muffins and enjoy the health benefits of the omega-3 fatty acids it contains.
